In dit artikel bespreken we\nwat de \u201cWindow of Tolerance\u201d inhoudt, hoe een stressbrein ontstaat en hoe u kunt\nomgaan met <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stress<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>De Window of Tolerance<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De \u201cWindow of Tolerance\u201d is een bekend hulpmiddel binnen de psychologie dat u\nhelpt te begrijpen hoe u reageert op <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/breinfijn.nl\/be\/chronische-stress-grote-gevolgen-of-een-weg-naar-herstel\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stress<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,spanning <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/breinfijn.nl\/be\/klachten\/angstklachten\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">angst <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">en (mini)trauma. Het\nkan worden gezien als een denkbeeldig spanningsraam waarbinnen u zich het\nmeest comfortabel en in balans voelt. Binnen dit raam kunt u helder denken, op een\ngezonde manier omgaan met emoties en problemen oplossen. Wanneer u zich\nbinnen dit raam bevindt, voelt u zich over het algemeen goed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indien u over het algemeen een goede jeugd heeft gehad, waarbij uw ouders kalm\nkonden reageren en u hebben geleerd hoe u met stress en spanning kunt omgaan,\ndan is uw raampje waarschijnlijk wat groter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heeft u daarentegen moeilijkheden in uw jeugd ervaren, konden uw ouders niet\ngoed reguleren, schoten zij uit hun slof of trokken zij zich terug uit contact?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dan is uw raampje vermoedelijk wat kleiner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iedereen beschikt over een raamwerk, een basis die voor ieder individu verschillend\nis. Dit is echter geen vaststaand gegeven; het gaat er vooral om hoe u zichzelf\nverder heeft ontwikkeld of nog zult ontwikkelen om te bepalen hoe dit raam eruitziet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Hoe ontstaat een stressbrein?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Door spanning, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stress <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">en\/of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">angs<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t kunnen situaties ervoor zorgen dat u als het ware\nuit uw raampje wordt geduwd. Wanneer dit gebeurt, kunnen we een \u201cstressbrein\u201d\nontwikkelen. U schiet dan uit uw raampje, hetzij erboven, hetzij eronder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dit betekent dat onze hersenen reageren vanuit een overlevingsstand, ook wel de\n\u2018vecht- of vluchtmodus\u2019 genoemd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wanneer u boven uw raampje uitschiet, bevindt u zich in de <\/span><b>vechtmodus.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uw brein schakelt letterlijk over naar een stressmodus, waardoor u het overzicht\nverliest en niet meer kalm kunt blijven. U kunt uit uw slof schieten, zeer boos of\nge\u00efrriteerd, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">angstiger<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/breinfijn.nl\/be\/hoe-overwin-je-paniekaanvallen\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">paniek<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wanneer u onder uw raampje uitschiet, bevindt u zich in de <\/span><b>vlucht- (of\nbevries)modus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,U bevriest als het ware. Het is echter belangrijk te beseffen dat\ndit geen vaststaand gegeven is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ook u kunt zich nog verder ontwikkelen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoe meer u uw bewustwording vergroot over hoe u met <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stress<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en spanningen\nomgaat, hoe meer u kunt leren. U zult ongetwijfeld nog uit uw raampje schieten; stel\nuzelf geen doelen die onhaalbaar zijn. Het gaat erom dat u leert om minder vaak en\nminder lang uit uw raampje te schieten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ook dit is iets wat u niet zomaar leert.
